Object Name Letter
Scope & Content A letter from a missionary to her friends in St. Louis, Missouri thanking them for their Christmas card and apologizing for the lateness of her thanks due to her husband passing. She thanks them for their prayers and gives some accounts of her experiences in Hong Kong.

She includes a photograph of a small Chinese girl and mentions their metting. Looking through the back of the letter (the photograph is attacked to the letter by adhesive strips) you finds words saying "Herbrews 11:38 This child's mother seemed to be the only civilized young woman. Her cave hut was[?] high up - She wept as she heard of the love of Jesus". (Page 2 of 2)
